Accessibility Statement

The Dr. med. univ. Julia Reiffenstuhl medical practice is committed to making its website www.hausarztpraxis-reiffenstuhl.de accessible in accordance with the Barrier-Free Accessibility Act (BFSG) and the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (based on WCAG 2.1 A & AA), which, according to §4 BFSG, assumes conformity of accessibility.

The goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.hausarztpraxis-reiffenstuhl.de. It does not apply to external or embedded content such as online appointment booking or OpenStreetMap.

Level of conformity with the requirements

This website is fully compatible with the WCAG 2.2 level A and AA requirements. Self-assessment was performed on March 19, 2026.

The website is a pure information offer and contains no further forms or interactive processes. To support accessibility, we provide:

Alternative color scheme with high contrast

For people with impaired vision, we offer alternative color schemes with high contrast — light and dark — can be selected through the Accessibility menu, which is located behind the button with the 🖐-symbol at the right side of the navigation bar.

Simple Language

In addition to the alternative color schemes, there is a Language menu on this website's accessibility settings. There, next to German and English languages, we also offer versions in plain language for cognitively impaired people on most subpages.

The site can be fully navigated with the keyboard. The focus order corresponds to the visual presentation, and all subpages are structured so that sections can be selected via Tab. The current selection is highlighted by a clearly visible border. Using the Escape key, currently open menus and pop-ups can be closed. Additionally, the Escape key resets the current focus back to the beginning of the page. There, a link to skip the header and main menu appears in order to quickly navigate to the main content of the current page.

Semantic HTML

To improve compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, we use semantic HTML5 tags and corresponding aria-labels in most cases.

Barrier-free alternatives

As an alternative to the (non barrier-free) embedded OpenStreetMap, we provide the postal address as well as the nearby bus stop on the contact page.
