Family Doctor-Centric Care

Participation in this type of care is voluntary. You decide to visit your family doctor first for any health issues. You commit yourself to doing so for at least one year.

Excluded are emergency cases and visits to the gynecologist, ophthalmologist, pediatrician or youth physician as well as illnesses outside the city of your family doctor's practice.

The family doctor will take care of you. If necessary, we refer you to other specialists or hospitals. This way, the doctor has an overview of your medical history and treatments performed.

The "guidance function" helps prevent over-examination and unnecessary medication intake. It also avoids errors by other doctors or unnecessary hospital stays.
