What is Laser Therapy?
The word laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
It's a type of light, but stronger and more focused than normal light.
How does the Laser work?
In our practice we use Softlaser treatment.
At this general practitioner office we also treat with Softlaser.
This creates specific photochemical reactions in cells.
Which results in an
- anti-inflammatory
- pain-relieving
- swelling-reducing
- blood-flow-promoting effect in the treated area.
When is the Laser applied?
The Softlaser can be used for various diseases, such as:
- Arthritis
- Muscle and tendon injuries
- Tendonitis
- Tennis elbow/golfer's elbow
- Heel spur
- Bursitis
How much does laser therapy cost?
Each session costs 36€. There are between 5 to 10 applications.
Private health insurance usually covers the costs.
Statutory insured patients can book the laser treatment as an individual health service (IGeL).
